Steven Schierling, M.D.
Steven Schierling, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.
Born in Saskatoon and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. Schierling attended medical school at Texas A & M University Health Science Center in College Station, Texas. He completed his residency at Scott and White Hospital and Health Plan/Texas A & M University Health Science Center in Temple, Texas. During his residency, Dr. Schierling trained in vein care procedures. After opening a private practice in San Marcos, Texas, Dr. Schierling decided to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area where his parents and sister live.
In his spare time, Dr. Schierling enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, fitness and cars. He and his mischievous dog live in Irving.

Douglas Lorimer, M.D.
Douglas D. Lorimer, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Lorimer was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended parochial school and his experience with the Sisters of Saint Mary's set him on a path of learning and discipline. He attended public high school and eventually graduated from TCU, and later to graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. From there, he moved to Dallas for his general surgery residency at St. Paul Hospital (now part of UT Southwestern Medical School). He then moved to Fort Worth into private practice with his father (also a general surgeon) and has been here ever since.
He spends time away from work reading mostly historical or biographical books. He also enjoys watching competitive sports like football and basketball. He also loves playing golf and really enjoys a Sunday evening with family.
