About Me

Patient care and health and wellness are extremely important to me—these things, along with my keen interest in science and my desire to be of service to others, drove me to a pursue a career in medicine. I am passionate about preventive medicine and empowering each patient to make healthcare decisions that serve their best interest. I view each patient encounter as a blessing and an opportunity to get to know my patients, educate them, inspire them to make wise choices and motivate them toward their individual health and wellness goals.

I was born and raised in India and I attend medical school at Stanley Medical College in India. After I received my medial degree, I moved to the U.S. to complete my residency in family medicine at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Upon completion of medical training, I stayed in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, working as a clinical assistant professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I am thrilled to be working at USMD and honored to care for the Denton community.

I am married and my husband and I have two sons. We live in Dallas. I cherish spending time with my family and I love running, reading and being outdoors. Volunteering is also something I value. I have served as a physician volunteer at North Dallas Shared Ministries, Tsunami Relief Campus and at events throughout the Dallas and Irving Independent School Districts.
