About Me

I can’t imagine a career doing anything else. I love helping people and the community in which I live. I am passionate about preventive health, and my goal as a physician is to ensure that my patients are educated on preventive measures that can be taken to maintain good health. I also have a special interest in bariatric medicine, which is the treatment of obesity through diet, exercise, nutritional counseling and FDA-approved medications.

I was born in California and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. I received my Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After obtaining my Doctor of Osteopathy, I moved back to Texas to complete my family medicine residency at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas where I also served as chief resident. Upon completing my residency, I returned to school and received my Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. After completing my Master’s, I co-founded Red Bird Community Clinic and founded Uptown Health and Wellness Center of Cedar Hill.

I live in Dallas with my daughter and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
