About Me

I saw the same family physician since I was 11 years old.  He knew my family well and took care of all of us for almost 30 years until his recent retirement.   When I decided to become a doctor, I knew that family medicine was the perfect choice for me.

I have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area most of my life.  I worked in the mental health field for 8 years before deciding to go to medical school.  I then attended UT Southwestern Medical School and completed my family medicine residency at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  I am extremely happy to be back in Carrollton, TX with friends and family.

My hobbies include playing with my kids, camping, running, church activities and scrapbooking.

I have an 11-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.  My husband is Joseph Schwartz.  Our cat is Wendy and our guinea pig is Hershey.  We all live happily in Carrollton.
