I enjoy my ongoing relationship with patients; working as a team to prevent new issues and manage ongoing problems with professionalism and compassion
Steven E. Johnson, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
I love being an office-based internist because I can have an ongoing relationship with my patients, and use my skills to keep them as healthy as possible in the future
I was born in Kansas City Missouri but came Texas as soon as I could (age 2). I am a Fort Worth native and graduated from Paschal high school. I had the honor of singing with the Texas Boys Choir from third through seventh grade and won a Grammy for a recording in St. Marks Cathedral, Venice, Italy in seventh grade. What an experience for a 7th grade kid!
My undergraduate experience was at Baylor University, medical school in Dallas at Southwestern medical school, and residency in Kansas City at the Midwest heart Institute, St. Luke's Hospital. I am board certified, and I have been in private practice since 1984 in Fort Worth, Texas.
I am currently president of the north-central division of the Texas Club of Internists.
My passion is children and the arts. I am currently school board president of the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts-- Texas Boys Choir and the Texas Elementary School for the Arts. I also enjoy playing golf, snow skiing, cooking, and gardening.
My wife is also a Fort Worth native. I have a son who is a sophomore in college and a daughter who is a junior at Paschal high school. I live in Fort Worth and have 2 dogs.
