I love getting to know my patients on a personal level and being able to keep everyone well.
Shannon C. Baker, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
I am so proud to be a Family Doctor and take care of the whole family. In my practice, I take care of many families where I see three generations. I chose Family Medicine because I love preventative medicine and keeping everyone in the family healthy, from babies to grandparents.
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I attended a small private liberal arts college in Maine, Colby College, for my undergraduate education and then went on to medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I married my high school sweetheart while he was in Pilot Training for the US Air Force. I then followed him for several years while he was in active duty and we have lived all over the world. He now serves as an F-16 Pilot in the US Air Force Reserves and is permanently stationed in Fort Worth at NAS JRB (Carswell).
I am an avid runner and enjoy doing local races around town. I also enjoy hiking at the Fort Worth Nature Center with my family and spending as much time outside as possible. I have a small garden in my backyard and enjoy composting and growing herbs and vegetables that I use to cook healthy meals with for my family.
I call Fort Worth home and enjoy exploring different areas around the metroplex. My husband and I have two young boys and a black lab dog.
