I love taking care of whole families from babies to their great-grandparents.
Quynh Rathkamp, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.P. is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rathkamp is also Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
I became a doctor to help people in one of the most fundamental ways - their physical and mental well being. I chose to be board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine because I love taking care of whole families from babies to their great-grandparents. I also pursued a masters in public health in tropical medicine so that I could serve/volunteer abroad.
I was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the US in 1975 when I was 6 years old. My family was sponsored by the Presbyterian church in Texarkana, Arkansas, and that is where I grew up until my family moved to Florida. I went to college at Harvard and medical school/residency at Tulane.
I was editor for the Pediatric Repair Manual, a guidebook for pediatricians.
I love to R&R, run and read. My other passion is serving the Lord, so I volunteer with my church's free health care clinic and with Brighter Tomorrows, a battered women's organization. My husband and I are committed to doing a yearly mission's project which has ranged from medical missions to reconstruction after natural disasters.
My greatest blessing is my wonderful husband Dave who is a Renaissance man whose passions are serving the Lord, home brewing, and woodworking. We have the sweetest dog Trixie. We live in Las Colinas, only 5 minutes away from my clinic.
