Serving our patients through
the science of medicine and
the art of healing.
I grew up surrounded by medicine. My father is a physician as well. I saw first hand the difference he was able to make in people's lives on a daily basis. Obstetrics called to me from the beginning of medical school and I never looked back.
I was born and raised in Granbury, TX. Growing up in a small town allowed me to see how a physician and patient could develop a close relationship. I want to be able to do the same thing for my patients in this community.
I went to college at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I came back to this area to go to medical school at UNT-TCOM. I met my husband during this time and after we married, we moved to New York where I did my residency at Good Samaritan Hospital. I had my daughter while we were there. She is now 15 months and the light of my life.
I did research while I was in residency with a reproductive endocrinologist. It was titled "Is there a correlation between hypothyroidism and fragile X number repeat". The research was chosen to be presented at the annual ASRM conference in San Diego in 2012.
We were so excited to move back to this area where all our friends and family are.
