Nana Mireku, M.D. is board certified in allergy, asthma and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Mireku is also board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

What to expect during your first visit with Dr. Mireku:

Your first visit may with Dr. Mireku be up to 2 hours, this includes consultation and testing.

You will have a full consultation then Dr. Mireku will discuss her testing plan you. You may have skin testing or other test done on the same day. In order to have skin testing done you must refrain from taking any antihistamines, including eye drops or nasal sprays, for 7 days prior to your visit. For a complete list of antihistamines, please click here. Some nasal sprays contain antihistamines so please review this link and refrain from using any that do contain antihistamines. Do not stop taking any of your other medications prior to the visit.

If you are unable to stop your antihistamines prior to your visit, please continue taking them and let the staff know when you arrive at your appointment so other arrangements can be made. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office at 972.996.5735, option #4.

Prior to your first visit, please complete the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology New Patient Forms Packet, which can be found under Specialty Specific Forms, here. You only need to answer the quesetions that apply to you and your health. If you are unable to complete the paperwork prior to your first visit, please arrive to the clinic 30 minutes early.
