About Me

Having been born and raised until the age of 14 in the bustling metropolis of Bombay (now Mumbai), and then having moved with my family to Houston, I have been blessed with the best of both worlds. I completed high school in Houston, undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

In today’s complex medical environment, it is all too common to diverge from the physician-patient relationship, which to me remains the core of a medical practice within a community. My goal is to focus my practice on the development of trust and respecting patient individuality.

I fully realize and value that patients have busy schedules and lives outside the doctor’s office, and it is very important to me that when a patient visits, wait times are minimized and face time is maximized.

My overall theme within medicine is to be neither excessive nor minimalistic, but rather to tailor an approach that is designed to keep patients and their families at the forefront. I see this as an opportunity that is both humbling and a privilege, and I look forward to caring for you and yours.

My wife and I live in Las Colinas and love the area. I enjoy almost all sports, from cricket to tennis to football to basketball, and am an ardent fan of the Houston sports teams.

I am fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. I also speak basic Marathi and basic medical Spanish.
