Geriatrics

The most important thing to me is that the people who entrust me with their care feel I truly hear their concerns and do all I can to address them.

About Me

I can’t really pinpoint the exact moment I knew I wanted to be a doctor. There wasn’t a single event that triggered my interest in medicine. Since middle school, it’s always been an interest of mine and one that’s only grown over time. Caring for people is something I’ve always known I wanted to do.

I know I made the right decision because seeing patients and treating them for a variety of conditions never gets old. As a caregiver, the most important thing to me is that the people who entrust me with their care feel that I truly hear their concerns and that I am doing all I can to address them—particularly with seniors who often feel they are ignored. That’s just one of the reasons I am passionate about geriatric medicine and why I completed my geriatric fellowship at Loyola University and Edward Hines VA after finishing medical training at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completing my family medicine residency at William Beaumont Health System.

After growing up in Naperville, Illinois, and living in Seattle and Chicago, I’m happy to be in Texas and caring for seniors in this wonderful community. I got married in October 2017. Together, we enjoy training our new puppy, Athena, and trying out new restaurants.
