Jay Teng, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

About Me

My father, 3 brothers, daughter, niece,and brother-in-law are all doctors.  Internal medicine is the most intellectually stimulating specialty-detective work to make the diagnosis and then to direct short and long term care in the most cost effective manner. I continue to see my own patients in the hospital and attend classes weekly at UT Southwestern Medical School.

I was born, raised, and educated in Dallas- SMU, and UT Southwestern Medical School.

It has been my honor to be elected in D Magazine as a Top Doctor from 2006 to 2011.

I am a photographer and an avid eclectic reader. I am a deacon at First Chinese Baptist Church.

My wife, Lily, is a registered nurse. My 3 daughters are all UT Longhorns-Stefanie is an internal medicine resident, Emily will be an architect, and Virginia will be a Child Development major.
