About Me

I became a doctor because I enjoy helping people. I chose pediatrics because I love children and working with them as well as their parents. Family is very important to me and I love getting to know my patients' families and watching my patients grow from small infants into adults.

I am a Texas native and was born and raised in a small farming town, East Bernard.

I went to college at Texas A&M University and received my B.S. degree in Microbiology.

I attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School here in Dallas, receiving my M.D.

I completed my internship and residency training at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, and have been in private practice with MCNT ever since.

My hobbies include playing the piano, cooking, reading, and running. I ran a 1/2 marathon last spring and hope to run a full one this fall. I enjoy being outdoors and go camping and waterskiing as much as possible.

I am married and have 4 children: 1 daughter, 3 sons. We live in Southlake.
