Obstetrics & Gynecology

I believe the doctor-patient relationship is so important. That’s why I’m always up front and honest with my patients.

About Me

From a young age, I have always been fascinated with the human body and its function.  I think it is truly an amazing creation with all its intricacies. I wanted to understand more about how the body worked, so I pursued a medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

I chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because it involves a lot of well care and preventative care.  I really like the fact that I can make a dramatic difference in a patient’s health.  Women come to me with a variety of health problems, and so often they are "fixable." Being able to help improve their quality of life is very gratifying. I especially like being a part of important milestones in a family's life—delivering their babies.

I believe the doctor-patient relationship is so important. That’s why I’m always up front and honest with my patients and expect the same from them. Patients play a huge role in their own health, which is why two-way communication is so important.

I am married and currently live in Dallas, and when I’m not caring for patients, I love to travel, play golf, and tend to my four-legged children. I also enjoy being involved with my neighborhood—including our recent support for a new park in our neighborhood
