About Me

"The greatest mistake in the treatment of diseases is that there are physicians for the body and physicians for the soul, although the two cannot be separated" -Plato

I was raised in New Orleans where I went to Tulane University for undergraduate and medical school. I also earned a Masters in Public Health with my MD degree in the combined MD/MPH program at Tulane University. I moved to Chicago for my residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University and fellowship in Rheumatology at Northwestern University School of Medicine.

I received the prestigious F32 grant from the National Institute of Health for my research during fellowship. I also published a chapter on Epidemiology of Osteoarthritis in the leading textbook of Osteoarthritis by Moskowitz et al "Osteoarthritis: Diagnosis and Medical, Surgical Management".

I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I live with my family in Plano, Texas.
