About Me

I became a physician because I wanted to help people. I chose to specialize in family medicine because it allows me to treat and care for the entire family, which is incredibly rewarding. I like being able to see each family’s dynamics and watch as each person progress through the various stages of life.

My approach to medicine is to focus on prevention; I truly believe that prevention is key to maintaining good health. My philosophy is that with healthy lifestyle modifications and regular screenings, I am able to work with my patients to prevent many medical conditions from forming or becoming worse.

I was born in South Korea and grew up in Dallas. I completed my medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and my family medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern. I have nearly 15 years of experience caring for patients in the Dallas area.

My family and I live in Irving and we love to spend time together.
