About Me

I knew from a very early age that I wanted to work as a family medicine physician. I am a fifth generation osteopathic physician, and growing up surrounded by physicians, there was never a thought of doing anything else.

I follow the osteopathic medicine philosophy of patient care—I believe that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself, I believe in treating the body as a whole and I believe the body, mind and spirit are interconnected. I strive to use this philosophy with each patient encounter. My goal as a physician is to build relationships with each of my patients, to get to know them beyond just their medical conditions and treatments and to provide continuity of care throughout their lifetime.

I was born and raised in Port Neches, a small town in southeast Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. I received my doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed my family medicine residency at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, where I served as family medicine chief resident.

I live in North Richland Hills with my family. I enjoy spending my free time with my children, exercising and cooking.
