JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position:  Help Desk/IT Support                                                             Classification:  Full-Time/Hourly

                                               

Reports To:  Manager of IT                                                                   Location:  North Richland Hills              

                                                                                                                                                                                   

 

JOB SUMMARY:                               

Provide first level support to MCNT employees, including the central business office and remote locations.

Configure, deploy and install pc systems and required software applications.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receive, document and work initial issues in the help desk system.
  2. Provide technical support for all hardware/network devices such as pcs, printers, print servers, and hubs.
  3. Install pc systems and additional components such as printers and hand held devices.
  4. Assist end-users and other IT associates in resolving issues related to the hardware and software.
  5. Install and support hardware and software on desktop computers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 2+ years experience in desktop hardware and software support.
  2. Knowledge of MS Windows 95, 2000, XP and Office products.
  3. Basic networking knowledge.
  4. Knowledge of pc hardware.
  5. Customer Service experience.

 

 

INTERACTIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

All levels of employees at the site and at the corporate level and the ability to work within a group setting and/or independently.

Good communication skills and local travel is required.
