Since assuming the responsibilities in 1994 as Chief Executive Officer for Impel Management Services and Executive Administrator of its newly formed 20-physician primary care medical group, The Medical Clinic of North Texas, Ms. Kennedy has grown the group to its current status of more than 100 physicians with net revenues of more than $60M. In addition to expanding the scope of diagnostic services and range of primary care services, the company provides information systems software and support and billing services to other health care entities in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
As senior executive at the Gallatin Medical Foundation/InterHealth Corporation, Ms. Kennedy acquired primary care physician practice to join the foundation, restructured the administrative team, developed family practice residency satellite at the foundation, and implemented professional risk contracting. During her 1987-1993 position as vice president for the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, Ms. Kennedy was lead negotiator throughout the 18-month negotiations process to acquire a competitor hospital. Areas of responsibility during her career have included the development of a corporate wide strategic plan, incorporating quality outcome measures, cost effective delivery of care, system development and a physician/hospital integration plan.
Ms. Kennedy received her BA in Psychology from UCLA and her Master's of Public Health (PH) degree from the UCLA School of Public Health. Very active in her community, she is a member of the International Board of Visitors, The Neeley School of Business and the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She is the past president of Women in Health Administration and currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Texas Alliance for Patient Access and the Center for Non-Profit Management.

The Medical Clinic of North Texas, P.A. (MCNT) is a dynamic physicians' group located in Dallas-Fort Worth. With clinics in Arlington, Bedford, Burleson, Carrollton, Cleburne, Cross Roads, Dallas, Denton, Farmers Branch, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Frisco, Irving (Las Colinas and MacArthur), Mansfield, Plano, and Saginaw, MCNT offers locations near most areas of the Metroplex.
The MCNT physician is a special breed. Our board-certified, primary care physicians and specialists are committed to promoting good health and healthy lifestyles for their patients. Most importantly, our physicians place the patients' needs above all else. To focus more on the quality of patient care, they have chosen to have their business/administrative matters handled by Impel Management Services, L.L.C. located in North Richland Hills.
All MCNT locations are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and some locations offer extended hours. Patients are seen by appointment only, but most of our physicians offer same-day sick visits.
